This is GOOD NEWS. Shining Girls (which I read after the BoingBoing recommendation) was excellent – a pure distillation of everything that Girl w/t Dragon Tattoo should have been but wasn’t. Excited for the new one.

Honestly i did not like Zoo City. It was brimming with potential from the get go, very reminiscent of a good Shadowrun story. But the animal familiar/abilities seemed woefully under-utilized, and the ending to the book was somewhat of a letdown. Not sure how Shinning Girls stacks up, but i don’t know if i want to go through all that disappointment again.
