Trump, in particular, has benefitted tremendously from people’s inability to stop talking about him. He couldn’t have afforded to pay for the coverage he’s recieved. People will vote for Trump because they read disparaging things about him on Boingboing and Huffington Post; that’s how publicity works. If Matt Drudge ranted constantly about evil hippie Jill Stein, she’d gain votes. Printing the name strengthens the brand. The one you print the most is the one you help the most.
Flouncing is a human right.
