Lawsuit alleges Subway tuna sandwich contains no tuna, or fish for that matter

IDK about wood pulp, but the dried fruit in Quaker oatmeal packets is often apple + artificial flavors and colors.

I think we’ve missed the obvious explanation, though. It was an honest mispelling. It’s actually a “tui na” sandwich. AKA it’s been massaged. Specifically the ingredients list.

If the non-chicken half of the chicken salad is celery, onion, mayonnaise, mustard, etc, that would be about typical wouldn’t it?

Edit: oh I see, this was about misunderstanding lab results that discovered some soy sauce and mixing up DNA sample prevalence with prevalence by weight

Given how often fish is apparently mislabeled, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that’s what’s going on.

Or rather, restaurants started calling the fish dolphin mahi-mahi. It was never called that other than by Hawaiian natives until very recently, Sometimes you will also see it called “dorado” which is a Spanish word for the fish as well, another way to avoid using the traditional name.
