so “black children” are fair game (because children are not protected), and therefore so must be “black adults” (because adults are surely not protected)

And, worse than that, I usually see racists use grotesque synecdoche to talk about all black men (or even all black people) to begin with (e.g. “black thugs”). By Facebook standards, anything then said about black men using standard racist codes is ok.
