How about not putting pictures of arrestees on social media at all?

Something like this would be unthinkable in most countries, obscured faces or not

Or you could just put a black circle over the face. The use of any ‘character’ image like Disney or Lego facilitates making editorial decisions during the editorial process. Even if the choice is random, it’s better there be no choice at all, since viewers make their own interpretations.
