I’ve got a real soft spot for Jack Davis*'s EC Covers. They have a real manic energy.
*It is outback, under the cotton wood tree.

For a while in the 90s I’d spend $60/week on great comics. I was thrilled to find EC horror reprints, and bought a bunch.

I used to get the mafia-scam editions with the top of the covers cut off and sent back to the publisher as unsold. I miss those numbers racket / convenience stores of my youth.
