We swear by these. I have several in my office for patient use, a couple in my car and a few more at home. Cheap insurance, and work on the tiny ones as well as the big, gross ones.

My dog died young of kidney failure brought on by chronic Lyme disease.

It’s known as post-treatment Lyme syndrome because it’s far from clear that it is “chronic Lyme disease”; it’s more likely that the Lyme infection triggers a chronic immune disorder that persists after the infection is eliminated, much like chronic fatigue syndrome can be triggered by mono.
