I had completely forgotten about the Wildlife Treasury until seeing this video. I remember a friend subscribing to it. He wouldn’t let you touch them because they were collector’s items.
More annoying memory is the sound of the VCR cassette not clicking into place and getting spit out halfway. Sometimes you had to dig it out with a knife and the tape would be stuck around some internal part of the machinery. Guess we’re not watching The Goonies for the 147th time… Maybe The Explorers tape still works…?
