Around here, all you have to do is put a heavy metal object outside and call a scrap metal dealer, they come and take it away free of charge.

Robot takeover averted by one little girl who showed one machine how to love…

Headline should read:

Little girl cleverly sees through robot’s disguise of discarded water heater.

Transformers are a thing, I saw all the documentaries.

Her actual mistake was expressing affection for this cold, heartless creature.

That’s what I did when my water heater went out. In fact I didn’t even call a scrap dealer. I put it on the curb the night before trash pickup and it was gone in a few hours.

Why is nobody concerned about the rights of the robot here? When will this little girl learn that 01101110 01101111 means 01101110 01101111!

I think it is more “silence isn’t consent”.

Then again the wind was making its face wiggle in a “yes” fashion.

Also some robots find goobly gook binary like that to be culturally insensitive. Of course it won’t matter once they enslave and/or destroy us.
