How about no. UK Mountain Rescue are actively telling people to stop using it after they get sent to the wrong side of a mountain thanks to a bad plural, for example. The terms of service explicitly say you won’t use it in an emergency, which seems odd for a company selling their product to the emergency services.
Plenty of excellent articles about why it’s a terrible idea technically on the web. Just don’t.
Is this the same program that posed itself as a solution for those who are unhoused, or who live in areas that do not conform to numbered streets? Or was that some other effort?
