Wasn’t un-condemning. They are far too quiet about these cleanouts and they always seem political. It takes multi agencies to deal with it. Some communities are working better with the agencies and interfacing directly with the homeless to see what their needs are. Re the safety, it is difficult to tell from a distance or when deciding to walk past, which people are just doing their thing vs. which are batshit crazy. Had a crazy white guy set himself down on the outdoor couch one night. Police walked him to the front lawn and let him go. He had been saying he knew who I was and was going to kill my whole family, but it was a tape on repeat so when he came back around to the beginning I understood him to be speaking of Donald Trump. I was tempted to offer a plane ticket.
