Where’s the curtain hiding the good movies?
It looks a lot like Kim’s in NYC.
40 years ago, I used to go to a store called “Video Cellar” and it was literally in the basement of a house. Maybe 600 sq.ft , around Xmas is was packed… packed that you couldn’t hardly move. biz was so good, they tore down the house and built a proper store on the site. Today no movies, supposedly a convenience store with very bare shelves… a front, guys running it are super-sketch.
In it’s day though, a few chains came and went in the hood but they couldn’t compete with $1 new releases and inexpensive snacks. Good times.
Definitely more practical than a weird carpeted cave.
