Like vitamin D, D2 and D3. You just really have to have some. If you have a lot we call it rat poison.

If you can’t find a rustproof lid, just dip it in wax after sealing. And you absolutely can use PVC to substitute for a sturdy chest!
The traditional way to preserve classic cars is to leave them forgotten in a barn, under a tarp well spattered with bird droppings and/or a thick layer of dust.

Should of considered that! I’ve got a roll of inconel wire that I bought cheap surplus, and it’s awesome for high temp/high corrosion uses (wiring things together that will be fluxed at close to 2000degF). Wish I could afford a spare roll for when this one runs out…
