This seems like a very close variation on the ‘fish pedicure’ thing that some spas do; except presumably less distasteful(for the moment) because the odds that the flesh-eating aquatic lifeforms aren’t (yet) being reused by multiple beauty hackers in succession.

This is of course how some other sea creatures make their living, cleaner shrimps and cleaner fish. Other animals come to them to take off dead skin and any parasites. Humans are apparently welcome too if we are interested – I’ve seen video where one checks the teeth of a smiling diver.
