This is really amazing progress. Every time they do this they learn more and get us closer to having repeatable success.

That sounds like a really good way to help a new virus adapt to infect the human population.
This guy is a true hero. He knew his end was near and allowed this to help medical knowledge move forward. Future patients will live because of his sacrifice.
