Glad it worked out, but I still say this new Lassie reboot lacks the heart of the original.
So the drone wasn’t controlled by an app on the phone? Or was it set to go up, hover, and then return?

The phone-based controllers a fine for backyard operators. I expect this was a professional-ish camera rig with an FM controller.
