I’m just wondering how anyone with pets and children would think it was a good idea to live in a house that had white walls and white furniture.
It reminds me of an old Malcolm in the Middle episode based around flashbacks of how all the boys were born. When Hal and Lois move into their first apartment together with the then-infant Francis everything is a pristine white. It was funny because everyone who was familiar with the sitcom family, or just with children in general, would see that scene and just think “you ridiculous, naive bastards.”
