Or they’re sociopaths.
I mean going after his actual, nonsubtle Nazi leanings in his public persona? That’s outrageous!
Tut tut.
I can’t get my head around how you believe that you sincerely defending* someone’s espousing of these abhorrent beliefs.
*I’m sorry, you’re not defending them but chastising us for even considering that they are garbage human domain.
I can’t even imagine what is going on here.
Is your central point that we’re not tolerant and open-minded enough to the National Socialist ideology?
If someone’s dogma includes declaring that entire swaths of humanity are deserving of being hurt or eliminated, and their literal job is the dissemination of that dogma, you may understand why people get upset when they are paid to come somewhere to broadcast their message.[quote=“Melizmatic, post:435, topic:94219”]
Here’s what I don’t get; isn’t Yiannopoulos homosexual, and the child of immigrants?

I’ve always seen that as an integral part of his driving trollies. Yelling that ‘god hates fags’ and that ‘faggots should go back in the closet’ and such is intensely infuriating coming from a guy who’s declared himself the ‘gayest man on earth’.
The Up Next video does have an image of someone with a visible wound, but I have the feeling that the video was mainly constructed from images grabbed from the Internet. Why would Trump supporters have black bandanas, confronted by police?
Does no one ever respond back “That means He hates YOU too, Milo!”?
They do, actually. Milo’s response is basically that he’s aware that he’s ‘aberrant’ and that his lifestyle isn’t Biblical, but that he can’t help himself and would become heterosexual if he could. He feels that if gay people can, they should use any tools necessary to cure their gayness.
I never chastised anyone for considering Milo garbage. That’s fine by me. I do too. As for going after his Nazi leanings in his public persona, yes. I definitely take offense to his public hate and his trying to spread it. You know? the whole harming other people thing. But as for his personal beliefs, they are his own. If he kept them that way, no one would even know he exists.
So he is aware that he’s a flaming hypocrite, “but he can’t help it.” If I were him, I’d be very careful about my sexual partners.
Water off a duck’s back, why would he care? He’s coated in so many layers of irony and hate that self-examination doesn’t come into play.
If only. But his opinions are (like Trump) his outward “personal brand”. Hate sells to losers, and there are plenty buying in this political atmosphere.
Personally, I believe that everyone gets their “day of reckoning,” before they finally leave this plane of existence for good. Occasionally, we’re lucky enough to witness it happen in action.
Sure! Unlike the Westboro Baptists, who raised their children to be utterly fearful of a hateful god, this is just a snot-nosed adult trying to be inciteful. I don’t think he deals with the same day-to-day trauma that the kids did before most of them fled the faith.
I concur; I think it’s attention whoring at it’s worst.
And the thing about it is, when karma finally comes calling for Milo, he’ll have no one but himself to blame.
Looking closer at the images and videos of MILO supporter “Eddy Brock” at Berkeley, there’s definitely a wound on his left cheek which is gone by the time the fire & fireworks start.
By whom? Be specific with examples.
Uhm, no.
I mined bitcoin for a while and am an active participant in things around crypto currency. Quite a few out and out lefty friends of mine are too. It more means you’re a tech dweeb than a douche (which I know has a healthy overlap but it isn’t the same circle and definitely not all Trump supporters).
Try Google…
Eh, I mined for a short bit and still have some to dump at some point but the crypto-community is extremely toxic.
Sure, Dogecoin was cute but the Ryan Kennedy rape and fraud sure tainted that as well.
Ok. That’s a fair cop. A lot of the “crypto community” are raging white asshole bros. I can’t argue with that really. Bitcoin does have a fairly wide based of interested parties though.
I mean, Vinay Gupta was the spokesperson/evangelist for Ethereum…
Workers shops =/= Shareholders shops. I’m not arguing for window-smashing (it’s pointless LARPing as far as I’m concerned), but I’m not interested in “Won’t somebody think of the windows!” either.
