I am enthralled by this gif. My grandmother just threatens to pop her teeth out and throw them at you.

Actually, maybe that’s worse.

I appreciate that they have some different physical gestures. It shows their individuality.

Also, the hats.

I need to download all of these into my phone, because I made the terrible mistake of downloading the “MeetMe” app to find some friends in my area. I even picked a deliberately ridiculous picture of myself to cut down on the “hey beautiful” messages. It’s not working. Dudes in Qatar are hitting on me.

A grieving teenage girl sad over the death of her infant child invented an entire genre of fiction in 1816… that is now dominated by men. I love me some Mary Shelley.

I believe that video would be a useful addition to the “Video Demonstrations of Why Adhesion to Ideology Is Bad With A Capital Cerd” collection.

But Swedish Chef, I mean, at best he convinced me to listen more closely to spoken languages because they’re fascinating, at worst, super culturally insensitive? Are Swedes ticked off…

woah. super duper deja vu going on right now with the paragraph sizes/layout…

…that Jim Henson might depict them in this way?

Still makes me laugh, though

I’ve only read Frankenstein, but it was an epic book that still shines a light on some of the most important issues of our day. I remember picking it up in college and groaning at the thought of reading it, and promptly had my tiny little prejudices smashed forthwith.
