Also also also⌠It was Lucille Ball that we have to thank for Star Trek TOS.
She ordered a SECOND pilot (still unheard of today) and pushed the studio to pick it up, and even then, when her own studio wanted to can Star Trek (and Mission Impossible) for being âtoo expensiveâ she refused. So all the nerds can thank Lucy for that show (and the universe it spawned) because without her it wouldnât have happened.
