(When I went in many years ago to draft a will, the lawyer told me that a large number of clients start out the discussion by saying “if I die…” and have to be reminded that it’s not a question of ‘if’ at all.

For the purposes of this Dead Pool, “if it happens” in only in the context of this calendar year. 
If he makes it through this year, he’ll be on my list again next year.
