My favorite little-known Mac apps

One thing Windows does really well is allow for easily snapping windows through the keyboard or mouse. For example Win+Right Arrow snaps the window to the right 50% of the screen and Win+Left snaps to the left 50%. You can also drag a window to the left or right edge of the screen to do the same.

Anyway, there’s a great Mac utility called Magnet that brings all this super useful window management stuff to MacOS. I highly recommend it.

The one I can’t do without is Pastebot.
At its core, its a multi-entry clipboard, but it has a lot of other niceties. (I often use it to “remember” links, text snippets, etc that I want to have easy access to for a while, but don’t bubble up to saving permanently somewhere).
