Any radio antenna is going to be several orders of magnitude larger than these things. Communicating with jiggers this small is quite the technical challenge.

Would really like to know what the fate (programmed or otherwise) is for the nanomachines once their targets have been destroyed. Programmed short lifespan? Shepherd’s whistle herds them all back together for pickup? Stay in the human body forever on duty, looking for bad guys?
