I would take a needle in the eye just to try this. I dunno about you.

Chinese nanotechnologists injected…

Just that instantly causes sphincters to tighten up and children to be ordered back into the house.

Don’t worry. Once particles have a chance to build up in the environment and food chain the scary needles will be removed from the process.

its a new super hero,
night vision junkie man -
when evil prowls in the night do not fear he will stab himself in the eye and see better.
and then score and then go to rehab and fight crime another night when he’s not so out of it.

That’s great, but the rats are now telekinetic and they’re about to rampage.

Does it also give them delightful cancer like other nanoparticles? Or do the mice simply not live long enough to develop that effect?

They are killed and dissected to determine the side effects. At least I hope they aren’t vivisected.

I am interested in what you are selling good sir. How many menthol flavored cigars will you charge to perform your science on my eyes?

I’m in my 40s, stable, with a family history of diabetes, high blood pressure and senile dementia. I’ve had a good run, and I know what I’m looking forward to.

Instead of buying a sports car and skydiving and trying to bed down much younger people I want some goddamn sci fi augemtation.

Where do I sign up? I’m gonna get cancer anyway.

Fascinating application. I’ve studied and synthesized upconverting nanoparticles but this is the first I’ve heard of them being used as a prosthesis for living organisms.

There’s the problem of how to remove the soldier boosts once their enlistment is over.

I love that movie!
