Eyes is an excellent tool.

I had Nasa’s Eyes running during the New Horizons Pluto flyby. Based on New Horizons’ programming, Eyes displayed what NH was looking at and with which instruments, as NH was simultaneously doing the real thing several light-hours away.

Eyes users can still go back and re-create the flyby with the Eyes on Pluto module.
