Weather radar has been used to study bird migration for years. In fact, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology (disclaimer: my employer) has a product called BirdCast which uses the US weather radar network to provide real-time bird migration forecasts. These forecasts can then inform lights-out campaigns to aid birds during critical migration periods. Not to mention, it’s just freakin cool and can help you find out when birds on the move will be traveling through your neck of the woods!

Those two Burton flicks are still the best Batman material put to screen. Although I do cherish Heath Ledger’s turn as the Joker.
