I’ve seen the cats around where I live try to hunt magpies and foxes. They are never impressed when I bang on the windows, even though it is for their own good. They are like those people who think they can beat an elephant in unarmed combat.

Used to have a cat that hunted squirrels. She’d get right on top of them but, unlike birds, the squirrels didn’t give up: they’d just keep running till they got to a tree, and then shoot up to safety.
