The droplets can travel up to 26 feet away from the source, and can remain suspended for up to 20 minutes
It’s hard to read that as anything but “efforts to avoid exposure are pointless.”

Not sure why the Times is publishing this…
It’s a good way to visualize how coronavirus might spread, even though some of the details might be off.
… perhaps because NYC is the epicenter of the American coronavirus and bodies are being stacked in refrigerated trailers; coronavirus “scofflaws” need to be frightened into doing what’s right.
