If I had time I would dig up pictures of some sweet lowriders from G Spa Paradise show in Jozankei 2008.

My personal experience with lowrider culture in Japan is cold doesn’t stop them. All the way up north in Hokkaido, middle of winter- hip hop show with full lowrider custom show, 3 day event. And they were seriously like outta LA man.

Japanese underground hip hop culture is heavily intertwined with these, too many nights of tequila sunrises with rappers in Osaka and Sapporo left me with a lot of memories of bouncing cars. God I miss my undergraduate passtimes…
