They used high-definition transcranial alternating current stimulation (HD-tACS).
Anyone know how this is different from Transcranial direct current stimulation?
Too much science I can’t keep up…
HD-tACS and TDCS use different current waveforms. The authors claim that they have much better spatial control over the brain areas stimulated (the high-definition part) and they focused on the influence of current modulation frequencies (the alternating current part)
