For all that Boeing has a lot (a lot!!) to answer for, some of these incidents do seem to occur on planes that are not at all brand new, and one wonders at what point skimping airline maintenance and safety checks are going to come under the microscope as a possible causal factor.
ETA @MikeR, do have a few gulps of sweet, fizzy brown stuff on me.

Not again! BoingBoing posts thing about Boeing airplanes but uses a photo of an Airbus airplane as the thumbnail/banner image! (Yes, again).
