Agreed; I wasn’t talking about the primaries when I made that comment.
I agree brand loyalty isn’t a good reason to vote, which is why I said so in the first place. However, people don’t owe anyone their vote, and independents especially don’t just switch over to one of the major parties for no reason. Blame non-voters if you want, but you can’t push a rope.
