Oh for sure, I can’t imagine how bad it would’ve been if she hadn’t been vaccinated. We all got it, and it was MISERABLE. But out of about 10 years of getting flu shots without fail this was my first time getting the flu, so I’d still call it a success. Especially since I worked in a public library for part of that time, the germiest place on planet earth.
That’s something I know, but I still can’t quite believe. There really are people in America who wear their street shoes in their own homes?!
I’ve seen it happening on TV, but every since I heard that it was actually true, I started questioning everything. If Americans truly don’t take off their shoes in private homes (come to think of it, they never do in TV shows), how do I know that their living rooms have more than three walls? Maybe there really is a crowd of people waiting in every single American home, ready to burst into laughter as soon as a family member comes home from work or school…
Most homes I go into here in the U.S. (including mine) have a shoes-off policy, but it’s more common for people to wear their street shoes inside.
Yeah, we have a shoe bench by the door but never ask guests to take off shoes. We leave it optional and I think most people take them off for our role playing game but at parties I notice alot of people keep them on, probably because they like going out on the back patio to smoke at intervals.
It’s rare I’d wear shoes up stairs but sometimes I end up running around in my complicated tall boots for a minute when I’m getting elaborately dressed up.
Parties are usually an exception. The expectation is that you’re going to have to clean up afterwards anyhow.
Depends. If I am running in quick, shoes stay on. If Iam home for a bit, they come off. Not always at the door, though.
Likewise. It’s so hard to get one’s pants off, while still wearing shoes.
i’ve seen the food that they eat. and the poop they try to eat. my guess is that my dogs don’t taste much at all.
