every single election since 2016 has made me nauseous. And I mean it makes me physically ill.
Both sides of my family are immigrants. They made huge sacrifices to get here. THEY made America great.
The last of them - my mother - died in 2020 and I’m glad she isn’t here to see this horror.
Parts of my family were in Europe during WWll and suffered from the Nazi’s. Now I’m watching fascists in this country try to ruin things. I’m just sick from it all.
And, yes, I voted early, already.
But I just am not convinced people will bother to go out and vote.
