Ah, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge - a classic.
Some bridges are designed to move a bit more than others:
Captain Kirk defends Imperial Stormtrooper!
You had me at “smells.”
I was personally surprised to learn of the existence of a thing called Harrisburg University.
It was founded in 2001, which probably explains why you didn’t know about it when you were living there many decades ago.
Many schools are in places I haven’t lived in a long time, or ever. Possibly even most:-) For a variety of reasons I’m usually pretty aware of new American doctoral-granting institutions, especially ones that specialize in STEM education, but I somehow completely missed this one. If this is the kind of research it specializes in, I’m less surprised.
I can only consider such kind of research after they run run it with the faces of C-suites of all S&P 500 and top level politicians.
This is officially called a “Yellow Snow Alert”
Carl Miller is the author of The Death of the Gods: The New Global Power Grab and has travelled extensively to meet those disrupting civil society out of all recognisable form in politics, business, media and policing.
Enjoy Carl’s lecture presentation, above, where he shines a light into the darkest corners of the internet for your listening pleasure (or alarm) to discover what has become of political legitimacy and authority.
Co-founder and research director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media at left-leaning think tank Demos, Carl takes you on a tour of industrial fake-news outlets, grass-roots political disruption and he goes inside the topsy turvy world of Russia’s hybrid war that uses disinformation, sock puppets, and fake news to wrong-foot the liberal West.

The startling prediction came from Tobias Ellwood MP, chairman of the Defence Committee, as he presided over a hearing on 5G security and Huawei’s involvement.
‘A’ is for ad money oddly gone missing: Probe finds middlemen siphon off half of online advertising spend
A study of the UK online advertising market, conducted by global accounting firm PwC, has found that publishers get just half of what advertisers spend, with the other half siphoned off by ad-supply chain intermediaries.
Worse still, about 15 per cent of the total spent, or a third of the fees, cannot be accounted for.
