Luckily, it’s possible to extricate one’s organ from most devices with a bit of twisting and pulling. Unless you have it secured by a piercing, determined tugging will get it off. Uncomfortable, sure, but possible.

I just moved into a river house in Dec., and there’s geese which put down for the night in the river. I presume to stay safe from predators.

There seems to be more and more every week. It started as maybe 100-200. Tonight there is a mind-bending number of geese in my backyard. I would estimate another 20-30 landing every 10 seconds or so.

Looking both upstream and downstream looks much the same.
