This turned out to be an inaccurate headline:
- The people on the static bikes werenāt the same people who parked their cars there.
- This photo was taken on a Sunday, when cars are allowed to park on that stretch of road, despite the presence of a cycle lane.
- Cyclists tend not to use that stretch of road very much, because thereās a split pedestrian / cycle path almost parallel to that road anyway.

I feel like these outdoor street patios are inherently dangerous. Iām not sure that I could relax, eat my food, and remain blissfully unaware of the possibility that an automobile could mow me down during dessert.
