 My guess is, “An accomplished woman in public, on stage, and with an audience listening to her vs. a man with a random opinion who was desperate to interrupt her and turn the spotlight onto himself.”

She is being sworn in.
Her hand is on a book.
Look at its title.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced Monday Charity Weeden will serve as associate administrator for the agency’s Office of Technology, Policy, and Strategy (OTPS), effective immediately. Weeden succeeds Bhavya Lal, who left the agency in July, and Ellen Gertsen, who had been serving as the office’s acting leader since then.

That’s lovely!
If you were sworn in as the director of the EPA (which would be amazing), what book would you use?

Ugh I looked and it is kinda worse.

As Consequence notes, Pink became the centre of a controversy in 2019 when anti-circumcision activists began scrutinising an Instagram photo she shared from a beach trip with her then-two-year-old son.

The star responded at the time: “There’s something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there. Going off about my baby’s penis? About circumcision??? Are you for real?”

So the root of this seems to just be harassing prominent or famous women with children over those children’s genitals. I have no idea what religion she is, or if her child was circumcised, but I agree anyone looking for that in pics of famous people’s babies is a fucking sicko who needs a better life.

Swift’s appearance at the NFL game has been a hit in more ways than one. Sales of Kelce’s jersey “saw a nearly 400% spike in sales” on Monday, Fanatics previously told CNN. Even TV ratings among her fans’ demographics surged, with Variety reporting that Sunday’s game was “highest among female demographics across the ages” of 12 to 17 years old and 18 to 49 years old for the week.

Swift has been a boon to business and the broader economy – beyond just jersey sales and ketchup. The star’s Eras Tour is on pace to rake in $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales, becoming the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. The resulting spending boom – on tickets, food, transportation, hotels and other items – was big enough that the US Federal Reserve made note of it in a recent economic report.

Stuff like this sounds a lot like what Dethklok was on Metalocalypse. Heck, even the show’s creator had said the same thing (at 38:00)

She’s Jewish

“ Alecia Beth Moore was born on September 8, 1979,[8] in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, to emergency room nurse Judith Moore (née Kugel)[9]and insurance salesman James Moore.[10][11][12][13] She has described herself as an “Irish-German-Lithuanian-Jew”,[14] and identifies as Jewish[15][16] (her mother is Jewish).”

It always struck me as a nice cautionary tale about the dangers of ignoring the world around you.

Ah! I didn’t know… so it’s just plain antisemitism, then… :rage:

There’s also “intactivism”, which I don’t really want to have much about in my search history, and the activists in that … ummm… subculture (?) have been mostly focused on bodily integrity, but antisemitism and anti-Moslem and such have glommed onto it recently too because of course.

How To With John Wilson has a glimpse (lol) of the original, non-fasch world of intactivism (Season 1 Episode 4).
