It didn’t help that they were so plentiful and cheap for a time that Trent Reznor would destroy one every night at early NIN shows.

Now the DX7s that remain are rare and expensive pieces of tech right up there with the Roland 808, Emulator II, Linn Drum, Jupiter 8, and other contemporaries that were on pretty much every single song recorded in the 1980s
