Maybe with more windows?

Maybe in the right climate
but it’s gonna get hot in the summer
 even with more windows.

That seems like a lot of space lost to stairs in a small home.

Indeed. It’s 90% stairs, and the only purpose of that incline is to park a car under it.

Honestly, you could probably put the whole thing on stilts if you really wanted to park under it.

In general, though, people always want to turn shipping containers into homes, but they are in fact one of the worst ways to build cheap homes.

This is just a stupid idea. On several levels.
Beside the wild assumptions of what “the aliens” might be interested in and what technical capabilities they could have - small fission reactors already have been flown from the mid 1960ies to the late 1980ies. Some 30 reactors in total.
Plus a lot of RTGs which are still being flown on a regular basis.

If “the aliens” weren’t interested in small fission reactors flitting around the Earth some 40 years ago, why would they be interested in them now?

And it’s like leaving your car unlocked- the aliens will steal our precious plutonium!

It’s not a bad idea as such and quite clever - but so are ground effect vehicles, hovercraft, Zeppelins, geodetic domes, pykrete, and so on and on

Clever deas that work but have little merit outside a few specific niches where they can do what others can’t, but are outperformed and/or not viable for broad, everyday use cases.

In this case, you could fit a car and at least three conventional living containers into the same footprint/volume for maybe half the cost, if that.

Until you drive home after drinking too many hard ice teas and crash your beamer into the right house support.

Or just park outside or get a cheap car canopy.

That’s lousy protection against micrometeorites, though.

Do the stairs really take up much space though? There would have to be a hall between all the rooms anyway. I think maybe the waste is part of building such a long thin home, whether or not it’s tilted.

Sure is handicap inaccessible for the sake of the car, though.
