Yeah, got that. Even a tepid attempt at humor, maybe. But I chafe when someone “gives me the go-ahead” to do things which that person has zero authority to regulate in the first place.

At the point when an infant becomes involved in the statutory rape situation, it’s counterproductive to toss the predator in jail. Make the would-be-convicted-rapist work to support both the baby and the child.

He had dropped out of high school, so peers weren’t other students. Also, this was 1985 - and while statutory rape was on the books, the girl had to consent to press charges.

Hypocrisy is as unescapable as death and taxes. Blame the girl, and not the guy. Those who derided your friend might likely criticize Islamic practices while – although not in the name of Sharia law – seemingly embrace its tenets. People… just… don’t… think. Zero introspection.

While i like the sentiment i have to point out that that sort of operation is much more dangerous for the woman than an abortion.
