I bet I’m the only commenter on a philately post.

I’m so old and dumb I completely fail to imagine how an old stamp like this is worth $20,000,000. What if it had been owned by a 12 year old girl? What if the kid was really only 11? How do we know it’s really the same stamp. What will ancient emails be worth in the future?

More to the point, the buyer is going to need 48 more of these things to mail a letter.
