One of Betsy DeVos's 10 yachts was untied and set adrift

Womp womp

I truly cannot imagine any situation where I would want something like this.

I kind of get the boat pictured below. I mean you are actually sailing it. But a yacht like that Seaquest thing…I’ll never understand the fascination.

It’s not so much owning something like that, but servants required to make it go.

Still, it’s small enough to be a Russian oligarch’s yacht’s yacht.

Well, it is in a small puddle - Lake Erie.

Thank you for the invite. I’ll be there around 7. I’ll bring my student loan debt and a vegan chilli with cornbread for the potluck.

That has got to be the least original name for a yacht I could imagine

Oh I just randomly spotted this on youtube looking for clips of that show

No wonder why it was so easy to untie. They just let it sit out there like that where pretty much anybody could walk up to it and untie it

From the looks of that middle rope, it looks like it’s primarily held to the dock by a tension rope, likely with a winch? I wonder how much effort it took to undo that? Not arguing, just wondering.
Maybe they used something to apply leverage, or maybe cut the rope?

It wouldn’t take much to get it loose. Probably could have been done in less than five minutes with a hatchet, machete or a hack saw.

Did any of her serfs escape employees leave the job recently? Maybe it wasn’t tied?

We need a bandit navy named The Sherwood Forest with this ship being the Major Oak.

We need it.

Well, there once were real pirates on the Great Lakes.
