What happens when pilots start taking matters into their own hands?

i see people shopping in their scrubs from time to time. i presume they know what they’re doing.

for dental hygienists, radiologists, some kinds of nurses, medical students and the like i assume it’s more like a “medical uniform” - so patients know who they are, rather than clothing that serves any particular medical purpose.

The problem with wearing scrubs around is that nobody else knows if the person is wearing
-clean scrubs in transit TO the clinic
-clean scrubs in transit FROM the clinic
-dirty scrubs in transit FROM the clinic (maybe could see stains or blood?)
(dirty scrubs from home, highly unlikely)

But then I think
the same applies to EVERYONE. We don’t know if that person is wearing Coronavirus-laden clothes or clean clothes or anything at all. We can’t tell if someone is wearing clothes with plutonium on them, let alone viruses.

So, therefore, the scrubs are an outward appearance that people can psychologically latch onto, but ultimately are meaningless as something on which to base an educated opinion. I’m more worried about carriers walking around than I am about clinicians who probably 99% or more of them know not to walk around in dirty scrubs. That would be a dirty scumbag move and none of the clinicians I know are scumbags spreading disease around willfully.

Paraguayans dig ditches to prevent Brazilians from entering the country and government decrees total isolation.

Ditches are being dug on the border with Mato Grosso do Sul. Quarantine in the country has also been extended until April 12.

You’ve seen my post on that?

I did, and largely agree. Might be effective in a way, but to think it will break the rate of rise is just crazy talk. I am thinking something along the lines of Tamiflu.
