not to be too morbid, but it really depends on when people get their census forms in. :confused:

also, i don’t think red state political establishment cares too much about the numbers of people in their states: in some respects the fewer the better.

they still get two senators no matter what, and disproportionate electoral representation. the smaller the population, the easier to control.

I am not terribly proud of this (though not terribly ashamed, either)…

I was reading through the endless bad news in the paper this morning. At some point Rush Limbaugh’s name was written in passing. I reflexively exhaled and thought, well Rush is still dying. And for just a fraction of a second, everything was OK.

To reiterate, I am not terribly proud of this (though not terribly ashamed, either).
