Sariel, who is said to “live and breathe” intelligence

But apparently not enough to get himself doxxed because he let his vanity overcome his opsec practise. I bet he’s whinging about the unfairness of it all.

What if the lapse in OpSec wasn’t blunder but perhaps rather purposeful. Israel (Netanyahu) is looking for an Oct 7 scapegoat and Unit 8200 has been in the crosshairs.

Nah, he made the decision to publish his book on Amazon, and he gave Bibi the opportunity to turn him into a fall guy and divert attention from the politically-motivated military and intel failures surrounding the 7 October attacks.

The Guardian story about AI targeting was based on this story from 972 Magazine.

972 stated that the author of the book was the “current commander of the elite Israeli intelligence unit 8200” but did not name him.

I’m kind of troubled that someone can figure out an email address from a book selling on Amazon. Was it embedded in the pdf file or something? And why doesn’t Amazon routinely scrub that sort of stuff?
