Well, that’s certainly a battle that’s been fought and lost…

Otherwise known as “porn for teens who had to make do with whatever they could find in grandpa’s attic.”

The title brings to mind Faces Of Death, which some of the kids I knew considered required viewing. It was just violence stuff without any sex. Personally I preferred sex stuff without any violence.

According to the book Killing for Culture by David Kerekes and David Slater, it was mostly faked except for the well known news footage stuff

Its a good book, tough to find the series these days.

My absolute favorite bit of the Faces of Death series (SFW, not gross, no actual death:)

Even the introduction is unintentionally hilarious. (Does it even count as foreshadowing when the outcome is so obviously predictable?)

“Stuntman Kenny Powers would attempt the longest car jump in history. His goal was to jump the St. Lawrence River. The distance would be one mile. An 8½ story ramp was constructed for his rocket-powered Lincoln Continental.

Wasn’t there a Michael Jackson song to celebrate the victory?

I hope the Bible is mentioned in the film. That book is just full of porn!

Baker looks like Fred Sherman, who played dry-cleaner Fred Goss in The Andy Griffith Show.

Oh, and Halliday is John Larch. That guy pops up all over. He’s in Dirty Harry and a couple of Twilight Zone Episodes.

This one is ALMOST as funny as Perversion For Profit, the anti-smut film with George Putnam. I believe that one was also financed by Charles Keating in 1965. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl2VrPhQBfE
