One nice but increasingly irrelevant feature of e-ink displays is that you can put them on a copier and make photocopies.

Best feature is they are sun-light readable. I’d like a phone that has an e-ink display on the back so you could see it in the sun.

Yeah, bright light visibility and battery life are the two main killer features of e-ink. I’ve had a series of Kobo e-readers going back more than a decade now, and I’m not even a little tempted to switch to a “regular” tablet. I’ve got Kobo’s colour version now, and it was cool being able to read a CBR comic in colour AND bright ambient light!
