Our son managed to persuade his school to let him replicate a small psychology study for a science fair. It was pretty innocuous (priming then word association) stuff, and he was able to to sample multiple classes. He did everything himself, only to get marked down by the external assessors because āit was apparent from his writing style that he had had adult helpā.
Nope. It just happened to be something that caught his interest at the time.
