In the late 60s or early 70s, my neighbor was in some sort of fraternal .org. And every summer he had a giant Bunyan in his back yard for a few days in prep for some gathering. We kids were in awe.

Mountain View, CA, prior to the value of land shooting through the stratosphere, had a legendary roadhouse / fun place to go called The Saint James Infirmary. And presiding over the collected tchotchkes of an early Silicon Valley (while appearing to touch the roof) stood a magnificently painted Wonder Woman. The restaurant suffered a huge fire in late '97. Even Wonder Woman couldn’t save the place (or herself).
If anyone has a better photo of her, please share!
They also had their own money!
